Yeah, that sums it up pretty good. Well done, Flip! The tears in Filly's eyes and the confused look Mick has are especially nice touches, considering it's Mick who looks like the angry one. "Mick's heart is a twisted and confused rotting organ."

Oh yeah, Mick's a headcase and Filly isn't much better, just in the opposite direction.

wow, and the group's still with him... and does what he tells them to... so guess that just makes everyone a head case...
we're supposed to save the city?
(no wonder the NCs don't really give a damn about us...)

Well, in the groups collective defense...there's a difference between having to work with someone and having to live with them. Though, it does seam Jeremy will soon get to experience both of those...God save us all.

as days went on, i found myself incontent with mick and filly in the moon, so i did a pic up without them disturbing that angry bat as he sihlouette's himself against the moon. www.deviantart.com/deviation/35990944/i'm not sure which i like better... advice?

I like the other better. And Filly is a headcase because she's so pacafistic while living with a brutal, heartless murderer.

Pic review = Cool
Sticking with one's beliefs makes one a headcase?

Isn't that what people kill other people about? Their beliefs? Haven't we been doing that for centuries? How long have the Israeli's and the Palestininians been at it? Haven't people been burned at the stake because of their "beliefs"?
You know, if you ask me, some times, sticking to what you believe in does make you a headcase.
But hey, I'm a strong advocate of crazy...otherwise stuff can get pretty boring.

so the belief "i don't want to see people hurt" is one of those times?

It is when you suddenly become the target of those doing the hurting, wouldn't you agree?

so the belief "i don't want to see people hurt" is one of those times? When you allow others to hurt you like that, yes.

It's not that she has, it's that she will.

conisdering she's got a prowess of 5 or 6, not sticking around to fight is also called intelligence. besides, i very much like the idea of doing your very best not to harm anyone, and saving who you can.
it's a cool concept, that not just anyone can pull off, filly can. why not let her?
besides, it just seems rather... close minded to call someone else a crackpot, because their ideas of what's right are slightly different then the usual.

She wouldn't let Mick hurt the man who killed her mother. Higher ideals than the world allows for.

i think she still believes in punishment, but mick had already made sure that guy was brutally punished beyond anything she could have wanted.

finally did up a sketch of filly's dead mom, Kara. the one mick truly longs for. picture her jacket as red leather and the rest of the outfit accordingly. i'll attempt to color it at asome point but for now, you got sketch (she has a tightly bundled, small braid in the back that goes down to between her shoulder blades, but you can't really tell. she's also blonde with a slightly lighter skin tone, looking more like tike than she does filly.) www.deviantart.com/deviation/41135852/
