Going to need materials and equipment to design/invent/repair Techno-Wizardry devices for the two mages.
Also additional spell books/grimoires and the like for studying/learning new magics (or access/membership to a Guild).
Keiko can supply herbs and some materials due to her shop and association with the mages in Hirishoma. May need to hire or recruit a Techno-Wizard until her skills/spell knowledge grows.

Techno-Wizardy isn't really as important in Japanese games--It's rare because it's mostly a ninja monopoly.
However I will point out that Japan has far more traditional alchmists and other enchanters. You'll have more luck looking for standard magic items than techno-wizardy, alchmists are far more common than Techno-wizards, whereas in most of Rifts it's the other way around.

Techno-Wizard devices aren't nearly that useful for mages who can already cast the spells. They would primarily be useful for non-casting characters who have the necessary energy to activate the devices.
I think Keiko and Yashagorô should first pool their resources and knowledge, and then decide what is needed in addition to that.
