I created this sort of as a... Not really a joke, but so much as something that is not to be taken entirely seriously. If someone would intend to use this in their campaign for their PCs... make sure that EVERYONE else gets BEEFED hardcore. I actually tested out what would happen if a regular mortal PC acquired this armor in it's full form... results were terrifying.
Input? Comments? Questions? I always love it when people can add more insight into my creations.

Armor of the Gods
The Armor of the Gods is, so far as can be known, something of a myth and a legend. Many have sought to complete the armor set, but few have said to have been able to achieve the astronomical goal. Here is what is known about the mythical Armor of the Gods...
The Armor is said to be a powerful set of magical objects. Each piece a part of a complete set yet individually they are able to grant, one who is fortunate enough to find it, great power. However, it is also said that with this power comes an ever increasing detachment from humanity as well as an almost blinding obsession in searching out, and obtaining, the other pieces. The user, or users, of these items were said to abandon friends, family and all things previously held dear... All for the sake of more power.
The Armor was developed during Pre-Rifts ancient times. It's creation has been credited to the Atlanteans mostly, but others have suggested the ancient Sumerians or Egyptians. For all that history shows of this mythological armor, it could have just as easily been created by one of the many Gods, Alien Intelligences, or other Ancient supernatural beings who have visited Earth in the past.
Once a piece of the armor has been found and is placed onto the body of the user, it will mold itself to the users shape and form, and bond with them on a level not unlike a cyber-armor implant. The piece of the armor seems to graft itself to the users very skin, becoming a part of them. Once this has happened, the pieces cannot be removed or taken, unless one wishes to kill for it. For once a user of a piece of the armor dies, the armor will simply remove itself from it's previous host and appear on the ground next to them.
Some have suggested that the Armor of the Gods is some ancient and lost form of Rune Magic. However, it is almost unheared of amongst those who are familiar with such things for a Rune Item to do some of the things that it does. Though rune items bond with their users, it is not on a physical level but a psionic, mystical level. So should this armor exist, it would be almost unique amongst the denizens of the Megaverse...
With all that being said, the final, and, what some would argue, the most important part about the Armor of the Gods, is that it is said to grant a mortal creature the power of a god. Any mortal being who is able to find and fully assemble this awesome armor will see his powers increase to levels beyond what most would consider natural.
GM NOTE: This armor can make a single character incredibly strong and powerful and is not really designed to be used by the PC's in your group. However, feel free to use if you have a high enough power level in your game. But be warned, it could just as easily unbalance your game. Perhaps the group is attempting to stop an NPC villian from collecting all of the pieces? Or perhaps one PC has found a piece of the armor and now desires the other pieces? What will his friends think? Will he abandon them in the name of greater power? Or will his friends be able to keep him from losing himself to this awesome and legendary suit of armor?
Breastplate Advanced Body Structure +2 to save vs. Magic +1d4x10 SDC (Note: In an MDC setting, the users SDC and HP are combined and added to this and become MDC. If another piece of the armor has already been collected, add this bonuse to MDC. This sidenote is true of ALL pieces of the armor.) Impervious to Fire +200 PPE
Left Gauntlet +2 to Strike +1d4x10 SDC (Same note as Breastplate) Ivisibility at Will (lasts for 30 minutes at a time) Super Energy Expulsion: Energy +150 PPE
Right Gauntlet Superhuman Strength Accuracy Telekinetic Force +2 to Parry +1d4x10 SDC (Same note as Breastplate) Fly at Will (Same as Fly as an Eagle, Duration is 30 minutes) +150 PPE
Head Guard Advanced Senses +4 to save Psionics (Not applicable vs. Insanity) +1d4x10 SDC (Same note as Breastplate) +200 PPE
Left Shinguard Sonic Speed +2 to Auto-Dodge (In addition to bonuses granted via Sonic Speed) +1d4x10 SDC (Same note as Breastplate) +150 PPE
Right Shinguard Extraordinary Leaping Fighting Instinct Extraordinary PP +6 damage added to kicking attacks +1d4x10 SDC (Same note as Breastplate) +150 PPE
Curses: With all this awesome power, there is obviously some drawbacks. Namely, once a single piece of the armor is acquired, the user must make two saves vs. Insanity. Each one with a -1 modifier. The first save is for the driving obsession to acquire and assemble the other pieces of the Armor. The second save is for a creeping megalomania that will try to consume the character. With each piece that is after that, the user must, once again, roll two times vs. Insanity with a cumulative -1 modifier to each. Should the user fail once, he does not roll again for that insanity, he has already fallen victim to the suits awesome power. Also, with each activation of a power granted by the Armor, that piece of armor will glow red with energy. This can be covered up with clothing, but should the user fail his save vs megalomania, he will want to brandish his acquisitions and reveal himself as something more than a mere-mortal.
And, although not necessarily a curse per say, it still needs to be mentioned. The suit of armor with NOT work for Supernatural creatures or Creatures of Magic. It will NOT work for them and could ultimately be discarded as useless or a trinket since in it's raw state, each piece of the armor looks like little more than metal and leather.
Final Note: Should any mortal being find and assemble the complete suit of armor. They undergo a transformation that is both physical and metaphysical in nature. Should the entirity of the suit of armor be assembled and worn, the user will gain the Major powers of Ascension and Bio-Armor (Each at 10th level. The Bio-Armor will appear as a skintight suit of metallic armor and the users eyes glow all the time). These powers cannot be turned off and are basically considered a permanent transformation. The character will never be the same as they have achieved a power that transcends mortality, and by now will probably view themselves as a god. If a PC gains this, prepare to lose them rather quickly. Power can be a terrible thing, and it can come at a terrible price...

It's rather interesting but not something that would fit into most of the games I play in.

The Suit was more designed for a Villian NPC, really. I would not recommend this suit actually be used by a PC unless it is a plot device used for some greater purpose.
In regards to not fitting into most games. Ideally this would be used against your PC group as something that they would stop from happening in the first place. Stopping someone from using this suit in and of itself could be incredibly hard and a campaign in and of itself.
If the a PC gets their hands on it... Plan on giving your other PCs something that boosts them up to God-like levels. Cause anything short of that just wouldn't be enough.
Ironically, this suit was an idea I have had bouncing in my head for YEARS and just now got around to putting it on paper. Just one of those things that would NOT go away I'm afraid...

It would make for a neat game quest...you could turn each piece into an adventure of its own...

Well... the theory goes that the pieces weren't just scattered around a single world, or dimension. But multiple dimensions as it was never intended to EVER be assembled into a complete form due to how powerful the thing really is...
It's kind of in the same power category as Palladium Fantasy's Castlerake... It's just NOT something you want assembled...
