Flak Missiles, Grenades and Auto Cannon rounds are designed to destroy enemy missiles and artillery shells and to confuse enemy Sensory Equipment. They work by spreading a mix of Chaff, flechettes and burning MDC thermite along with scrambled radio signals in an attempt to damage missiles while providing confusing sensor readings. All Flak munitions deal double damage to missiles and exposed sensitive electronics like sensor towers or radar dishes and provide a cumulative 5% (up to 35%) penalty to sensory equipment and weapon systems checks per round detonated within the last three rounds.
