Matt: Elex will be outside his tent, looking like he's in some sort of deep meditation throughout most of the night.
paul: *Silvie walks over to a meditating Elex. her current state of undress and dishelvelment seems to indicate that she's been Yiffing with LG.
paul: "Hey Elex can we talk?" She asks quietly.
Matt: *takes a deep breath and sighs it out softly, as though rousing from a deep sleep, before looking up and seeming to ignore the appearance completely* "Of course, Silvie-san. Speak what is on your mind."
paul: "Did you know that LG looks apon you like an older brother?" Silvie questions.
Matt: *nods with a slight blush* "Hai, Silvie-san. Though it is odd that a being such as her would view me with such respect and reverity. However, she is still very young and an impressionable youth."
paul: "That is something that worries me at times." Silvie says. "I am fer friend, lover and teacher about life and the worlds that we choose to live in. Yet I'm worried that she will just take off some day and leave me."
Matt: "And so is the nature of a newborn Dragon. Most of them are often consumed by a certain amount of... wanderlust. Most of them are highly curious about the world around them and want to explore it and other worlds. This is not uncommon of dragons and should not worry us, as her friends."
paul: "Still I've had some rather horrid endings to relationships before." Silvie says thinking about the man who taught her the trade of bounty hunting.
Matt: "Silvie-san..." *folds his hands in his lap* "I would say that if you expect One-chan to stay by your side for the rest of either of your days, you are being unrealistic. Dragons, are creatures unlike you or I... And chances are, she will not stay by any of our sides and move on throughout the great many other worlds that exist so that she might experience it all. Which is the drive of many of dragonkind."
paul: "Elex you are forgetting that I am not human. It's one of the problems that my Brother had when i would ask him about alot of things. Maybe our mother would have had the answers as she worshipped my dad and was very knowledgeable about the supernatural." Silvie states. " I really don't wish her to spend all her life studying Shifting and bounty hunting. But right now I really do think that we need

Matt: *shakes his head* "I have not forgot what you are, Silvie-san. However, that changes nothing of what I have said. One-chan is a creature unlike you or I. You, who are part divine, are still not on her level. She is a creature of magic, mystic energy is such an integral part of her very essence, her life force, that the only way for you to be on the same fundamental level as her would be to somehow achieve full god-hood. paul: "That may eventually happen I don't know yet." Silvie says. "Right now i am a bounty hunter with a couple hundred captures to my name and I'm heading off to fight a pirate king."
Matt: "Who also happens to engage in certain... deviant behaviors with a Newborn Dragon who is less than two months old." *tilts his head* "And that is lesson to be learned, Silvie-san. One-chan will not stay with us for centuries. Decades, maybe... at best. However, by that point, she will probably have become board with this group, if not this whole world... and will want to move on."
paul: "You say deviant like there is something wrong with sex." Silvie replies. "To me such behavior is perfectly normal and rather enjoyable. Some people enjoy different things than I do. We are not hurting anyone with what we do so why should that matter?"

paul: "Elex in the past three years I have hunted down and captured well over two hundred assorted criminals." Silvie states. "If I didn't enjoy this job for the most part I would have quit alog time ago and probably joined up with some primative tribe or something."
paul: "What makes this job of mine so horrible is the fact that I have to look at the evil that mortals do to each other and even when I would love to simply backshoot the bastard....take them alive."

paul: "Then there is the matter of how I get paid." Silvie adds. "Alot of places just don't have the cash to pay for the bounties they put up so they trade things to me. Matt: *shakes his head* "Silvie-san, you miss the point entirely. Your acts beget evil deeds. You capture evil people alive... for a price. Simply because they are worth more alive than dead. You do not capture them with the intent of reform. You capture them with the intent of cashing in on their heads..." *frowns* "It is an act I do not condone."
paul: "Then how would you reform someone who raped an 8 year old girl?" Silvie asks. "Or how about someone who slit someones throat so that they could get a cybernetic arm installed? How do you reform greed or any of the multitudes of evil out there?"
Matt: *shakes his head* "If that is all the information you have available to you, then it is impossible to consider punishment. However, you were not meant to be judge, jury or even executioner. You were hired, or took on the job through your own volition, with the intent of cashing in on it." *looks up at her* "Those evil men, the evils they commited, they are all just a job to bounty hunters. It's a job to you, not a moral decision or a desire to STOP evil from happening! If it was, you would not seek payment for it... Good deeds pay for themselves."
paul: "Good intentions do not put food on the table nor do they purchace books and educational supplies." Silvie says. " The money is not the important thing to me but what is done with that money."
paul: "Look at Juarez and how rich some of the people are. They are multimillionaires by far and yet everything they do with their money and power is for their own pleasure." Silvie states. "There is the Guard trying to make things better but I don't see them makeing the place any better. Right now I just don't have the resources to change anything."
Matt: *shakes his head* "Money does not necesitate anything. It merely makes it easier to acquire. There is nothing one needs that can not be gained through ones own hands. Do you honestly believe that the Lady Chu'Si or I, if left to our own devices, with but the clothes on our backs to support us... that we would starve? Or fail to continue learning?"
Matt: "Not once has she... or I, picked up a book with the intent of learning from it. My sensei felt it necessary for me to learn language and literacy as a part of my basic education so that I might spread be able to spread knowledge and learning to others. However, he also taught me that knowledge is gained through experience. One does not cease to learn merely because they do not have books available to them. They cease to learn when they no longer care to learn."
paul: "Have you ever had to live like Hector and spend your days fighting with dogs for scraps to eat?" Silvie says. "It's not impossible for someone in that position to better themselves but it's damn hard to do one ones own."
Matt: *blinks*
Matt: "Silvie-san... I have lived in worse conditions than Hector-san. I did not have to fight dogs for scraps, I had to kill the food I have eaten."
Matt: "Kill the animal. Prepare the carcass. Prepare the meats and cook them, myself. Which would you say is more difficult, Silvie-san?"

paul: "then what do you think Anna's chances are to ambush Kyrang?" Silvie says. "Frankly, I'm not sure that Ringo wants to remember what it's like for a captured woman."
Matt: "Better her chances with who and what we have available to us... or who she has available to her, I should say. Since we already are fairly confident he will bring his own forces to kill us..."
paul: "True as if i was the sort of bastard kyrand is reputed to be I would backstab the bounty hunters in a heartbeat."
Matt: *nods* "We simply do not expect him to honor any sort of agreements he might have about her capture. From what she says, he would go to the very gates of whatever hell he will be sent to eventually, just to retrieve her and get that orb she has."
paul: "Sometimes I wish Mother hadn't been grabbed as she would have some idea what to do if what i have heard about her is correct." Silvie says. "Unfortunantly for us some demon lord grabbed her and she's gone."
Matt: *motions over to where Devra is* "Why does Silvie-san believe I asked to go to Wormwood? Devra-san knows much about the forces of the Unholy... Kyrang's species being one of them... among other things..." *shakes his head* "We already know what needs to be done... now there is but one thing and that is to do it."
paul: "Then once we take out Kyrang then what do we do with Anna's object as it's not right." Silvie says. "or do we just wait for the next monster who wants to use it?"
Matt: *shrugs* "That, I believe, is for Anna-san to decide. She may just simply wish to keep it so that it not fall into less scrupulous hands."
paul: "Kyrang does have multiple rewards on his head and I know I am not going to need too much money for what i want. part of me was thinking about starting a school back in Colorado." Silvie says. "It makes me feel alot better than simply spending the money on booze and sexual partners."
Matt: *nods* "And one less evil despot to worry about in the world, Silvie-san. Cash in on HIS bounty if you wish, Silvie-san. However, do not plan on bringing him in alive. His punishment will be swift and harsh in this life... however, it will be eternal on the other side."
paul: "hehehe, Elex There is no one hell and for some beings there may just be existance or non existance...I don't know yet." Silvie states. "All I know is that I am trying to help friends destroy a monster that needs a good killing. Some of you don't seem to understand that I'm doing what I do for a reason."
Matt: "We all have our own reasons to do the things we do, Silvie-san.
paul: "Personally I hope there is someone who can make Anna look like she's been a prisoner." Silvie says. "With her looks if she really was the prisoner of the sorts of people who would work for Kyrang she would be getting gang raped right now."

However, both can betray us at times and we must always be weary that we stay true to our principles."
paul: "With Kyrang I don't want a fair fight. I want him to think he's getting a broken wench and finding that he's too close to a pissed off demigoddess." Silvie says. "That's another reason i wanted explosives. if i get the chance i was going to mine their side of wherever we are meeting."
Matt: *shakes his head* "A dangerous and unnecesary precaution, Silvie-san. Kyrang will not have the opportunity to run away from this. And he is too far away from his fleet to do anything except run... And he WILL be caught. Should I have to bar his path myself. Remember, we all have our own powers and abilities. Some of which we keep to ourselves in times of emergency..." *looks up* "It has been a long time since I have had to go all out in a fight."
paul: "I'm not looking for a fight Elex." Silvie states. "Whether Anna wants to agnoledge it to not i see her as a friend and she is in danger. I'm going to do everything in my power to ensure that Kyrang is so flat footed when things happen that the only thing he can do is die."
Matt: "Ah... not looking for a fight and not expecting to have to fight are two entirely different things, Silvie-san. It is my experience that the only way we could possibly avoid a fight in this case would be to simply hand Anna-san over to him, and none of us are willing to do that. While I would prefer this to be handled in a more... amicable way, the reality behind this is Kyran will try to kill us... one way or another, and I do not intend for that to happen."
paul: "As I said I concider Anna a friend and i want to help her deal with Kyrang." Silvie says. "Even if she seems not to even want to understand my intentions. I'm trying to help her as best i can."
Matt: *smiles* "Perhaps you might consider telling Anna-san that yourself, Silvie-san. So that she might understand your intentions a bit better. A small, humble word of advice though, if I may. Trying to kiss a woman who is coping with the fact that her love interests formerly-believed-dead-wife, is now her new familiar... might not be the wisest or most prudent of ways to go about showing your concern. Remember our discussion about overstepping boundaries? You would be wise to remember it when discussing this with her."
paul: "Elex, have you ever noticed that I'm not that good with people?"
Matt: *smiles* "Yes, Silvie-san. I have. However, it should not be that difficult to say, 'Anna, I am sorry if I offended you. I am your friend and am trying to help you as best I can.' to her. Such is the way of these things. You must consider what it is you have done, and feel genuine regret, apologize for your mistakes and try to make ammends for them. Anna-san is not an unforgiving person. Proud, yes... but not maliciously so. I believe she will accept your apology and then it is your responsibility to ensure that she does not regret doing so."

One should not force another to change... change must come from within. Accomplish this, and you will see... things can change for the better."

Matt: *smiles* "Yes, Silvie-san. I have. However, it should not be that difficult to say, 'Anna, I am sorry if I offended you. I am your friend and am trying to help you as best I can.' to her. Such is the way of these things. You must consider what it is you have done, and feel genuine regret, apologize for your mistakes and try to make ammends for them. Anna-san is not an unforgiving person. Proud, yes... but not maliciously so. I believe she will accept your apology and then it is your responsibility to ensure that she does not regret doing so."
Matt: "You must grow, Silvie-san. I believe I have told you this once before. I do not mean grow in strength or power... or anything else so... mundane. I mean grow as a person, an individual. One should not force another to change... change must come from within. Accomplish this, and you will see... things can change for the better."
paul: "I know I'm changing Elex." Silvie says. "I am different than the person Aliza hired to get Ringo out of that shithole he was stuck in. I'm trying to be an example that one doesn't have to kill people to be a bounty hunter and I would love to make some things better in Juarez. How I should change is something that I need help with."
Matt: "You said it yourself, Silvie-san. You are not that good with people. You have already identified that which needs to change in yourself, now you must DO. I believe you know the answer already, somewhere inside of you. However, it is your job to find that answer. I can only show one the path they can walk. It is their choice on whether they choose to walk it or not. That is the only way one can truely learn and grow."
paul: "It's funny when i was a little girl I would go to my brother for advice on how to behave." Silvie comments. "Domo Arigato Braza."
