[19:36] Misfit: Anna returns from working on the orphanage to find Jeff in your room wearing a frown
[19:36] Agilbxr: *walks in and gives him a hug* "what's up?"
[19:37] Misfit: He returns the hug "An enlightening afternoon around Aliza"
[19:39] Agilbxr: "oh" *kisses him and then goes and sets her stuff down on the dresser* "and what were you enlightened about?"
[19:40] Misfit: "She had some theories about why we are here. She thinks the gods sent us to stand against the vampires down south" He frowns "And unlike the rest of us, she's actually heard from her patron diety"
[19:41] Agilbxr: "just because her patron diety says she is here to fight vampires doesnt' mean we are. Not that vampire fighting isn't a noble cause, but I'd have to have a lot more reason to believe that was our purpose in life than 'Aliza says so'"
[19:42] Misfit: He nods "I know. But why are you here? It's not uncommon for the gods to see their chosen are where the dogs wish" He sighs "And she thinks cleaning up Juarez is priority over riding out to fight the undead hordes"
[19:44] Agilbxr: *sits on the bed and looks at Jeff critically* "and sometimes we end up somewhere just because. There doesn't always have to be a reason or a purpose"
[19:45] Misfit: "I know. That's not the big thing, though if we stay, we'll probably have to deal with the vampires one way or another. I think we'll be wanting to move as soon as the orphanage is habitable"
[19:46] Agilbxr: "I had thought of that, especially since Aliza came back. I just don't trust her around the kids..."
[19:48] Misfit: "Oh, she has promised to behave until we get the kids to the orphanage. But she intends to resume using the whole house as her... playground"
[19:53] Agilbxr: "well, i'll just have to work faster then....good thing that repair spell doesn't take a lot of energy"
[19:54] Misfit: "And we have some folks handy with lumber, even if they'll be thrown off by a lack of sails"
[19:56] Agilbxr: "true" *looks at her watch* "I'll need to do some shopping too, for furnishings and kitchen stuff and, well, everything. That may cost more than the building itself"
[19:56] Misfit: "Yeah. Good thing you have a fleet of two to go plunder from the ships of monstrous cities?"
[19:59] Agilbxr: *chuckles* "and a nice stash to begin with"
[20:00] Misfit: "Yeah. And our shares from Kryang. So, we get to hopping on fixing up our new home? Before we see more of Aliza than either of us care to"
[20:01] Agilbxr: "sure. Let's run by the hardware store and get some supplies delivered, then head to the building for the rest of the evening. Where is Perce? She would probably enjoy the shopping part, but I may have to give her a budget, or have approval rights, or somethign"
[20:02] Misfit: "For this shopping, let's leave her behind. We don't need solid oak paneling behind the bathroom sink. And she will insist"
[20:04] Agilbxr: I was thinking of furnishings and things like that. OF course, for kids rooms, we may have to leave her at home too"
[20:05] Misfit: "Exactly. Let her see to our rooms and we'll handle the rest. I love her, but she has peculiar needs"
[20:06] Agilbxr: "pots and kettles, Love"
[20:06] Misfit: "Touche. Let's go then"
[20:17] Agilbxr: *picks her bag back up and slings it over her shoulder* "the hardware store then..."
[20:19] Misfit: "Don't Greek heroes usually get a page-boy to tote their stuff?" As he grins and follows. "And the jewelry store?"
[20:21] Agilbxr: "I have no idea. I only know one greek hero, and he didnt' have a page boy. And why are we going to the jewelry store?"
[20:21] Misfit: "Don't I need to get you a ring? You did agree to marry me"
[20:23] Agilbxr: *blinks, then chuckles* "oh...I didn't..." *pauses, a little flustered* "well, yeah. A ring. "
[20:24] Misfit: He laughs "I could write 'Property of Anna and Percephone' on my forhead, but that seems a bit much"
[20:26] Agilbxr: *grins* "we could give you a tatoo" *looks at his rear end* "one name on each cheek...."
[20:27] Misfit: He reddens a bit "If that's your preference..."
[20:28] Agilbxr: *laughs and gives Jeff a kiss* "I love you jsut like you are..."
[20:29] Misfit: He kisses back "Then let's go" and drags you out, stopping to kiss Perce and tell her "We're going to take stock of what else we need in the orphanage"
[20:38] Misfit: Perce makes a face at the thought of manual labor like that, but kisses Anna and Jeff farewell
[20:43] Agilbxr: *chuckles at Perce and heads out, obviously in a marvelous mood*
[20:45] Misfit: You get some weary eyes as you go, but you and jeff are a bit daunting. And you see the orphanage needs a lot of work
[20:45] Misfit: "Maybe we should hire someone?"
[20:48] Agilbxr: *frowns* "I think we might be able to get it done faster ourselves"
[20:49] Misfit: "Probably. Maybe we can wing a deal with the dojo down the block?"
[20:49] Agilbxr: "most likely. I was just going to recruit a few sailors. They work amazingly fast if you promise them rum when it's done"
[20:51] Misfit: He frowns a bit at the rum "True. So, keeping a few when your ships sail out?"
[20:53] Agilbxr: "if they want to, sure. Most would rather go back out to sea"
[20:53] Misfit: He nods "You seem to inspire a lot of loyalty in them, even the more piratey ones"
[20:56] Misfit: "Do we check on that too while we're out?"
[21:00] Agilbxr: "I'm fair, I pay well, and I maintain order. They seem to like that." *smiles at Jeff* "check on what?"
[21:00] Misfit: He shrugs "Your volunteers to stay? Didn't we need to get the obvious pirate ships out of town quick?"
[21:02] Agilbxr: "soon. I think if they disappeared too quickly it owuld cause more problems than letting them hang out a bit. That, and I don't want ot appear that we are in a hurry to get them out. No use letting them know they've bothered us. But we can stop by the ships and see who will come help out"
[21:03] Misfit: "That makes sense, I suppose" and you get a long list of items needed for the orphanage
[21:06] Agilbxr: "in some strange, roundabout, anna kind of way, everything makes sense"

[21:12] Misfit: Anna finds a few volunteers, including Nils, though Morrianne and Lery decide to return to sea
[21:14] Agilbxr: *gives them the directions to the orphanage, then heads to the hardware store*
[21:19] Misfit: Jeff walks along happily and you spend another ton of money between the building supplies and delivery
[21:24] Misfit: Jeff "Uh... we'll probably want a carpenter or something for furniture"

[21:38] Agilbxr: "you are distracted by my boobs? and Perce's boobs? Now?" *picks up her hands* "i'm covered in dirt and probably smell like a horse"

[21:47] Misfit: "Sorry, I'm not getting as much sleep as I should?"
[21:48] Agilbxr: "uh huh. Guess we'll just have to let you sleep alone for a few nights*

[21:49] Agilbxr: "i sure hope I don't need to. She might be kind of hard to kill now"
[21:50] Misfit: "She always was, she just never let it show. She's Ringo's creation, there's hard steel in there"
[22:01] Misfit: "And I taught her to use the sword. She's more dangerous in a fight than damn near any merc you'll find in Juarez. She just prefers not to show it"
