[20:33] Misfit: A couple days after Cody's dual outbursts, Lery lags back to Phere's spot at the end of the party. "The pigeon just came back'
[20:35] taus.solace: *looks up, startled out of her thoughts* "I was beginning to wonder when..or if the bird would come back. What is the news?"
[20:37] Misfit: "Wels said he and Rachel had a slight delay, some bandits tried to jump them. He sent this" and Lery hands over a sealed letter
[20:38] taus.solace: (they are riding at this moment?)
[20:38] Misfit: Yeah
[20:40] taus.solace: *catches in her breath as she accepts the letter, turning it over in her hands a moment before she opens it. Her horse seems to move slower as she reads*
[20:42] Misfit: Lery rides beside you, watching closely. The letter is written is flawless greek and reads, "My granddaughter. I had hoped you would follow in my footsteps and wonder where we went wrong. Since you will not accept your destiny, I will tell the clan you rest at the pool where I met your messenger. They will not pursue you. Do not give up our secrets and do not come back unless you intend to take your place in our ranks." It is unsigned
[20:45] taus.solace: *while she reads and rereads the letter several times, her horse comes to a full stop in its tracks*
[20:47] Misfit: Lery stops too
[20:48] taus.solace: *folds the letter after reading for the final time, and urges her horse alongside Lery* "It is done."
[20:49] taus.solace: *does not move so switftly as to catch up to the others, simply plodding along at a relaxed pace*

[21:28] taus.solace: misfit_kotld: "You ok?" taus.solace: "It is.. what I had hoped for, and at the same time, not. She says they will not pursue me, for this I am glad." misfit_kotld: "Then you are as free as you can be"

[21:35] taus.solace: "Perhaps so. I do not know if she would have tried to get me to reconsider, and she left the door open to the chance I may yet come to my senses.. but it will not happen. I have not been more clear in my resolve for anything. I have a chance for a true life worth living out here, not back home."
