Crazy Hindu Myth

Ok, this term I am taking a class on Hinduism and reading a lot of very old Hindu texts. One I read for Tuesday involved the god Siva and his penis that almost destroyed the universe.

Siva wanted to surprise and test his priests by showing up naked to the priests' wives with his member in hand. The wives went wild with desire. The priests showed up and told the disguised Siva to leave. Siva got angry and his penis (yes, just the penis) went berserk and started destroying the universe. In order to pacify it, the priests had to summon the mountain goddess and turn her into a vagina. They did so, the penis showed up, and was "pacified" by the vagina. The universe was saved.

And THAT my friend, is one of the more tame ones. You should read about some of the times the gods went to war with one another, and then check out some of the creation myths.

The craziest, most deviant RPG session in the history of games got nothin' on Eastern religion.

Yeah, I LOVE Eastern mythology. Our gaming group has done some weird stuff in our games, and had some really weird Gods and such, but when you look back into myths you discover there is nothing new, deviant, or weird about these games...it is far more a case of keeping them accidentally authentic... ;D
