[20:19] Nekira Sudacne: You hear Filly's perky voice "Hi!"
[20:20] Flip: "hi fil..." *his own tone changes without him knowing* uh, things going okay there?"
[20:21] Nekira Sudacne: "Oh everything's going just wonderfully! Tike fixed someone's hand computer for 10 credits, and I was able to get some cheese for dinner tonight"
[20:22] Flip: "ten credits? for a computer repair?!"
[20:23] Nekira Sudacne: "Oh I know, he didn't want anything but the kind man refused to not give him a tip"
[20:23] Flip: "gah! jeez..." *puts his hand over the phone and counts to 5 to calm down*
[20:24] Flip: "hey fil, could you put the littpe pipsqueak on the line?" *said with barely contained anger*
[20:25] Nekira Sudacne: "Uhh, I think..." you hear some silence "give me a minute, he's found something in this huge complex he's been tinkering on, i'll have to get him"
[20:25] Flip: "i'll wait" .oo(what's the little frigger doing to my house?)
[20:26] Nekira Sudacne: after a while you hear tikes voice on the phone "Hi! I found this great gizmo in here. I have no idea what it's for but it's fun to take it apart"
[20:27] Flip: "hi tike. look, i got a little project for you, if you think you can do it. it's worth a few months rent, and it'll make living expesnes cheaper"
[20:28] Flip: *still barely constrained rage*
[20:28] Nekira Sudacne: "ok! anything! I can fix anything!"
[20:29] Flip: "alright. look for a power generator in the scrap yards i just came across two e-clips if we could start running the place off our own power, we could stop paying someone else to give it to us. you get me?"
[20:31] Nekira Sudacne: "oh! e-clip! I've always wanted another chance to mess with one. the Suits wern't happy when I found their stash but I couldn't resist. I can find a generator no problem!" (tike found a stash of e-clips a while ago and took most apart figuring out how they work or shorting them out in other ways, it's part of their debt)
[20:32] Flip: "i was afraid of that... look, just don't blow anything up, okay!"
[20:33] Nekira Sudacne: "Oh I havn't blown anything up since yesterday!" you hear Filly go SHH! faintly
[20:33] Flip: "what did you do to my house?!"
[20:34] Nekira Sudacne: you suddenly hear filly on the phone "Oh it's nothing really, he was playing in the junkyard and found a weird machine. he tried turning it on but it shorted out and smoke came out of it"
[20:34] Nekira Sudacne: "please don't be mad! he was just playing and I really think that was just someone's junk"
[20:36] Flip: "wha..?! i'm not mad! do i sound mad?! just..." *quiets down* "just don't let him blow up an outside wall, or a building support, okay?
[20:36] Nekira Sudacne: "He won't, I promise. we'll go get your generator right away!"
[20:38] Nekira Sudacne: "Oh, we're not doing anything right now"
tike shoting "but I'm still working on the..." "shhh"
"We'll get as soon as we can. bye!" she hangs up

Just Another Day

[22:09] Nekira Sudacne: you notice the time is now 9:35. you have less than half an hour to get back to Filly
[22:09] Flip: "fuck, i gotta get out of here, i'm late. peace man. thanks for putting up with these morons"
[22:10] Nekira Sudacne: he grins "Your the one putting up with them, I just get their money. run along now. take the road next to my house and cut though the alley on the right. jump the dumpster it should save you some time"
[22:11] Flip: "will do. later"
[22:11] Flip: *does just that, and runs the whole way*
[22:12] Nekira Sudacne: his shortcut cuts at least 5 minutes off your time and you get back just in time to have filly run smack into you as you open the door. she looks up "Oh dear" *stands up and brushes your shirt off* "I'm sorry I'm so sorry i'm just in a hurry to get to work. Sorry, sorry again!"
[22:13] Flip: *pants* "what.. what are you apologizing for?" *
[22:14] Flip: "let's... just go."
[22:14] Nekira Sudacne: "of course we need to go. I can't be late. Sorry again!" she gives you one last pat then hurries on to work herself
[22:14] Nekira Sudacne: (leaving you trying to keep up...)
[22:15] Flip: *walks a foot behind her, giving wary and looks and glaring at anyone that looks suscpsious*
[22:16] Nekira Sudacne: no one dares return the look for too long, Filly seems tottally obviously to any danger and smiles and waves to random passerby
[22:17] Flip: "i don't know who's life you're gonna be the end of first, yours or mine..." *mumbles to himself*
[22:18] Nekira Sudacne: She stops and turns around "I'm sorry, did you say something? I'm afraid I missed it" she looks concerned
[22:19] Flip: "i said, to wait for me enxt time. even if you're going to be late. how many times do i have to tell you the streets are dangerous?" *his usual pissed tone, but he's not yelling for once, so it's ovious he's not overly steamed*
[22:20] Nekira Sudacne: *she frowns* "I'm sorry, but I can't be late. I'm sure i'll be allright..."
[22:21] Flip: "you're going to worry me to death. what's more important your life or your job?"
[22:21] Nekira Sudacne: She blinks "The people I work with need help..." she says as if the answer is obvious
[22:23] Flip: "yeah well you need it too. i keep telling you this isn't a nice neighborhood... look! i just don't want something bad to happen before you figure that out alright?"
[22:24] Nekira Sudacne: she nods "Thank you so much for the help you give me" she clasps your hand and smiles brightly at you
[22:25] Flip: "whateverer, just,.. wait for me next time, i promise i'll be there okay?" *is not looking at her*
[22:26] Nekira Sudacne: *nods* "We can't be late. Come on" *runs though the streets to her job, not letting go of your hand*
[22:27] Flip: *follows, still trying to glare down anyone stupid enought to try anything, while running after her*
[22:28] Nekira Sudacne: no one tries anything
[22:28] Nekira Sudacne: eventually she gets there and smiles "Just in time with one minute to spare!" she says as if she just won a race
[22:30] Flip: "yeah, i'll be here to pick you up." *doesn't look at her* "i might have an extra task to put on your load tomorrow if you don't mind, it shouldn't be a hard one, and it would only take about five minutes, that alright?"
[22:30] Nekira Sudacne: "Anything! what is it?"
[22:31] Flip: 'i'll tell you if i can't see to it myself." *smirks somewhat evilly* "but it's helping a someone that can't help themself. so it's right up you alley"
[22:32] Nekira Sudacne: She brightens "Of course i'm happy to help! who is it?"
[22:32] Flip: "you don't know the guy, i'll introduce you to him tomorrow, if i have the time"
[22:32] Nekira Sudacne: "Of course. what does he need help with?"
[22:33] Flip: "eating, just got to bring food out to him'
[22:34] Nekira Sudacne: *nods* "of course. I do that a lot here anyway...Oh Dear! i'll be late standing out here talking. oh, me and tike found a generator that only needs minor repairs Tike says. Later!" she runs inside

15:45] Flip: (i'm not really sure where to find loan sharks... they usually find you...)
[15:48] Nekira Sudacne: (they have to live and hang out somewhere. if you met them...you can track them...)
[15:50] Flip: (mick's probably been paying them pretty regularly for Tike and Filly's debt, so he'd know exactly where to go. i'd suppose it'd be in a rundown convenience store, with overly expensive produce so people wouldn't go in it much

[15:55] Flip: (also, probably has a couple of goons always hanging out beside the store. no loan shark wouldn't have goons...)

[15:58] Flip: *walks in with his usual angry look, and frowns and looks at clerk.*

[16:03] Flip: "yeah, i'm about to put down 15 Gs on tike's debt.. and i got a bit of info to sell"
[16:04] Nekira Sudacne: He raises his eyes cooly "Indeed? lets cover the first thing first"

[16:05] Nekira Sudacne: he takes it and runs it though the scanner and nods then nods to the stock clerk who begins to take some boxes out
[16:05] Nekira Sudacne: (just kinda occured to me it's a way to hide it from taxes. when you get something like this simply relocate a like amount of goods from the store for actual use)

[16:06] Nekira Sudacne: (then say you sold it)

[16:15] Nekira Sudacne: he smiles "of course. but regardless, that still leaves the question of what info you have and what you want"
[16:18] Flip: "it's about the NC's. those bastards made a serious mistake last night, and i'm going to make them regret it. they have one less assasin now, and i got a hold of the bastard's phone, there was the usual callers. but one certain phone number, you guys in paticular would be wanting to know. the favor i want, has to do with that call."
[16:19] Nekira Sudacne: the amused manner he has had sinse you walked in suddenly drops. "The Nightcrawlers are...something everyone is watching out for. but the info you have has to be pretty damn big if you think that we'll get involved with your personal vendetta with them"
[16:20] Flip: "you hear the info, and do me the favor or not?! it's something you guys'll want to check out for yourselves anyway, i'm just asking you guys to relay what you find out to me!"
[16:21] Nekira Sudacne: *frowns* "give us the info and we'll naturally investigate. if you give it to us we can tell you where it goes, though depending on what it is it might not actually go anywhere. I can't judge until I hear what the lead is"
[16:22] Flip: *the caller ID was *gives the phone number*"
[16:22] Flip: (for city hall)
[16:23] Nekira Sudacne: he nods and looks thoughtful "that's a goverment number" he states flatly "I don't know what office off the top of my head"
[16:24] Flip: "neither do i, and unlike you, i have no way of finding out. i have a feeling we could end up working together on this one. it won't be the first job i pulled for you guys, and this time it's personal, so there's no other bidders."
[16:24] Flip: *cracks knuckles*
[16:28] Nekira Sudacne: He regards you neutrually for a few moments "We'll be in touch" he starts typing something quickly into the computer
[16:30] Flip: "before we finish up here, a bit of info. you can put a price on it if you want, but it better not be too fucking much. all i want to know is, if i were to find files of every legal triax gun registry and licenseces, where would i get it?"
[16:30] Flip: "from two weeks ago through to the last 50 years?"
[16:32] Nekira Sudacne: he stops, blinks, and looks up "The only place I know of that has a comple registry of all triax sold weapons would be Traix HQ. each goverment office only contains files of those registered in their precinct"
[16:33] Flip: "i found every fucking one in the assasin's house."
[16:33] Nekira Sudacne: "every one, or just a lot of them? you cross checked already?"
[16:33] Flip: "i got people going through them right now, or else i'd have taken them with me."
[16:34] Flip: "and they were paper files too for some fucked up reason. they might be on his cpu too, but that's stil being hacked"
[16:36] Nekira Sudacne: *frowns* "That is strange. if your people are still going over it you'd have to cross-check them somehow. make sure there are no gaps, or that they're even accurate. they might be forgeries after all if it's an assassin hiding his own arsenal." *smiles* "and my price, is a digital copy of said files after you get them so organized"
[16:39] Flip: "his own personal arsenal? are you dense? i said from the past 2 weeks to fifty years! that's not an arsenal, that's a military campaign!"
[16:39] Flip: "i'll see what i can do. the guys going through them aren't exactly on good terms with me, but we share info for a mutual goal. just like me and you apparently. chances are, they'll give it to me when the got it done. how do we cross check them?"
[16:41] Nekira Sudacne: he smiles "You'll have to either hack into triax HQ to get a complete record to compare them to, or spend months, likely years, tracking down publicly-availible files for registered gun owns from every precinct in the nation. it is not a task I envy you"
[16:42] Flip: "no hacker in their right mind will do that!"
[16:44] Nekira Sudacne: "then you spend years tracking down every public record of every gun registry for hte past 50 years in every precinct in the nation while somehow avoiding arousing suspecion from all the police offices you'll be making requests too. you might find it easier to find an insane hacker"
[16:44] Nekira Sudacne: he smiles evily
[16:46] Flip: "yeah right. and than the crazy asshole'd sell the info to everyone he could, wouldn't exactly make the information i just gave you rare would it?"
[16:48] Nekira Sudacne: "possibly. My job, however, is not to gather information in this manner. that's for other people. if you can come up with a better idea, or find someone with a better idea, feel free to use that instead of my suggestions. I don't really care as long as it gets done. you might want to ask your friends...or current allies, if they have a better solution. frankly, this isn't what I get paid to do for a reason"

[20:39] Flip: (btw, for when filly starts feeding the limbless guy, neither of us have come up with name for yet, he would tell her from the start to never speak his name around him.)

[20:44] Flip: "hey..." *Is quiet and was probably waiting at the kitchen table reading a newspaper*
[20:44] Nekira Sudacne: *frowns* "I...have a question..."
[20:46] Flip: "figures*" *looks away, yet still facing her, obviously wating to hear it*
[20:47] Nekira Sudacne: *she looks to her feat, frown, looks up, looks down* "umm...err...." *flushes* "How..." *looks you in the eyes and straightens* "HowmuchdoIoweyouforcyberneticreplacementsforthatman?"

[20:58] Nekira Sudacne: *brightens* "Wonderful idea! Thank you" suddenly she's bright and happy again "thanks so much for your help" she clasps your hand
[21:00] Flip: *yanks it away turning his back to her and folding his arms hiding his blushing* "hey i didn't help or anything, and i don't even know where we'll get the money for that kind of thing. but give me the info and i'll see what i can do..."

[21:01] Nekira Sudacne: she starts to turn for te door almost as if she's going to go right this minute, but before you can point out any logic you suddenly hear a loud, mettalic clanking and screething sound coming from somewhere in the warehouse and she stops dead
[21:03] Flip: *grabs for her wrist before pausing at the sound looking horrified towards Tike's direction* "that brat didn't..."
[21:03] Flip: *runs towards it*
[21:06] Nekira Sudacne: while your running the sound suddenly stops and you see little tyke messing with something rather large that wasn't here before, with just a bit of smoke coming out...
[21:06] Flip: "what in the hell are you doing?!"
[21:08] Nekira Sudacne: *smiles brightly* "Oh hey there, I got the generator you wanted, but it seems that it needs some repairs before we use it. and cleaning, that smoke's the oil"
[21:09] Flip: "does it come witha muffler or something? we can't have the entire neighborhood know whenever we turn this thing on?!"
[21:10] Nekira Sudacne: "Well, that's why we need repairs. I think I do a muffler, let me see..." *rips open the side and starts messing with stuff*
[21:11] Flip: "arlight, but make sure that part's the first thing you do we can' have it going like that or the poli. er, we'll wake everyone for miles!"
[21:12] Nekira Sudacne: "You got it" *starts making lots of clanking noices with tools*
[21:13] Flip: (did filly come with to try to stop me from killing her brother?)

[21:15] Flip: lets tike hammer away and uses the sound to cover the conversation away from him* "hey... what did that bastard say anyway?"

[21:18] Flip: "that... that guy! why do you want to help him so much all of a sudden?" *tunrs his back again to watch tike* "whatdid that man say to you?"
[21:20] Flip: (mick refers to everyone as a bastard so, that's a pretty difficult one to decipher really)
[21:20] Nekira Sudacne: *blinks* "he's HURT! why would someone leave him like that anyway? it's just cruel. we HAVE to help him, you know, that's why you brought him to me in the first place" (and you didn't say that so I didn't know he made a habbit of it)
[21:22] Flip: (true, but i have called many a person a bastard in this campaign i notice, it's pretty reoccurring)
[21:22] Nekira Sudacne: (and never while Filly was around, and you have shown he has a habbit of acting differntly around her)
[21:23] Flip: (true, but he does still get angry alot around her, and like kyo, is often prone to saying things he obviously doesn't mean)
[21:24] Flip: (the fact that he acts differently sometimes, is about the only way he shows affection for anyone)
[21:27] Flip: "yeah, you don't know how he got that way do ya? people don't just do cruel things for the fun of it, seems to me, he had to've done a pretty cruel thing himself"

[21:30] Flip: "yeah, he usually doesn't. and to you he especially wouldn't" *smirks, but there's no mirth behind it* "some people deserve their lot in life Filly, this world isn't so cut and dry as you make it sound sometimes. people behind bars are in a lot of pain for most of their lives, you gonna break them all out?"

[21:56] Nekira Sudacne: he frowns for a moment then grins "Not for much more! as soon as I get this here generator working you'll get free power!"
[21:57] Flip: "if you don't bring the cops on us first, i know you know i don't own this place. why haven''t you told her yet?"
[21:58] Nekira Sudacne: *smiles and for the first time you see a bit more than a kids gleam in his eye* "Same reason you don't"
[21:59] Flip: *frowns* "whatever. just don't get us all arrested brat, i don't like living on the streets any more than you do, and i have a lot more enemies, and seem to be earning more powerful ones by the day"

In the Case of Limbless: part 2

20:35] Nekira Sudacne: (during the walk home on night)
[20:37] Flip: *nods* "well... the usual, questions, who, when, where and how much?" *glowers a bit at the sidewalk*
[20:37] Nekira Sudacne: "Umm, one of the others at the hospital says he knows a cyber-doc who can do it for...60 grand for a complete set of replacements"
[20:38] Flip: "you meet the cyber doc?"
[20:39] Nekira Sudacne: "Well no...I wanted to ask you yet, he just told me a few minutes ago"
[20:40] Nekira Sudacne: (however, you can just listen to the price and know it's a ripoff. a full set of repleacements shouldn't cost less than 100 grand, whoever's selling this is obviosly a ripoff, the limbs likely taken from a corpse and badly tuned)
[20:41] Flip: *nods, then taps her on the head in scolding* ""you remember the day we met?"
[20:42] Flip: *is usually a quieter versin of himself on these walks, much more calm)
[20:42] Flip: "the guys who were chasing you. rememebr them?"
[20:43] Flip: (talking bout the time he saved her from when she walked into the body chop shop that was set up in his warehouse area)
[20:44] Nekira Sudacne: She nods "Of course" she smiles and suddenly squeezes you in a genuine hug "Thank you again"
[20:44] Flip: *shakes head, and taps hers again* "you remember what you saw right before you met me right?"

[20:47] Flip: "you wanna be sending this guy to that kinda place to get his new limbs?"

[20:49] Flip: *nods* "from what i've heard, that's about 40,000 under regular market value, even for stolen goods that's cheap. that kind of price is asking for trouble."
[20:50] Nekira Sudacne: She frowns "So they'll give him rottign used limbs?"
[20:51] Flip: "if he 's lucky enough to be dealing with a semi honest guy"
[20:51] Flip: "chances are, if they're perfectly good limbs, they'll send somone back for them later"
[20:52] Flip: "i doubt our friend would survive having them taken from him twice"

[00:00] Nekira Sudacne: Tikes bike purrs beneath you, gliding over the turn, you've had more trouble parking the damn thing at times. in a bit of poetic justice you see the Nightcrawler wipe out on the first turn, and by all apperances he just plain couldn't handle the turn. the Tin Man makes the turn with relative ease, keeping on your tail, a black biker in red crashes, following the NC, followed then by the Warlord, and the last guy makes the turn with trouble, but just managing to not wipe out, the crowd cheers as the race is soon taken to the next level as you hit a short streach, (not long until the next turn, and there's only you and two others left in the race)

[00:37] Nekira Sudacne: Tike is litterally jumping up and down and babbling incoherently, not in jargon, but in that you just can't udnerstand what the hyper brat is saying, whereas your mysterious older nightbane looks like a mouse caught in a trap trying to keep tike under control
[00:39] Flip: "get over here brat." *lifts him up on to one shoulder, kinda like barret does to marlene, then looks at the nightbane guy* "hope you bet alot. that's the best odds i'll ever have."

[00:40] Nekira Sudacne: he nods "I upped my bet after my guy took a look at your bike, and i'm glad I did" he grins "Didn't quite cover what I lost, but you took a big bite out of it for me, thank you"

I think the Tin Men are putting their own money behind it to take back their pride from the NC's. after all, they've owned the races for decades before the NC's showed up"

The doctor suddenly snaps out of his thoughts and stares at her for a while, blinking then nods "yes...yes...absouletly..." he gives you a sympathising look then transfers him from the cart to a medical gurny and pushes him though hte doors

We naturally called the police when that...er, you showed up, they came, and after a while they looked at him and said they'd take him to a more secure hospital for questioning. and so we naturally transferred him. this facility is little more than a hospice, we couldn't reattach his legs or give him the treatment he needed"

[12:29] Flip: "i didn't like kara's kids living in the scrapyard. i took them in. i was expecting at most to have to deal with gangs, not demons. i can handle gangs."
[12:30] Nekira Sudacne: he frowns "In any case, you know i'd give an arm to help filly, but I don't see what I can do. Fighting demons is a job for the young, i'm past my prime, and done more than my fair share during it"
[12:32] Flip: "give me the hospital's name they took him. use whatever connections you have!" *slams fist on the table* "i'm not asking much, i'll do the gurading, the fighting,t he killing, the torturing, whatever needs to be done, i can get that, but i need a place, and if able, a way in"
[12:35] Nekira Sudacne: he frowns "There's no need to use connections, they gave us the name when they took him. it's the Gettersun hospital on the south side (the police zone, whichver side it was). it's one of the best facilities in the nation, the police and local military base use it personally for injurerd personell. they likely took him there to make sure no friends came busting him out, and because it has the facilities to easially reattach his legs. they'll likely offer him his legs back if he rats on people"

In the Case of Limbless - part 4

[20:35] MIck: *walks her to the cybernetic place as they go check on limbless, is as usual, being silent about it, when combined with his earlier experiences of dealing with the group that day, and equally if not more perturbing event of restoring limbs to someone he ripped them off in the first place*
[20:39] Nekira Sudacne: Filly seems happy, but somewhat subdued. as you grow closer she suddenly says quietly "Credit for your thoughts" she suddenly turns her head and grins, looking straight in your eye before you have a chance to turn
[20:41] MIck: *continues facing forwards avoiding her gaze* "mostly i'm thinking how i REALLY didn't want to be here doing this."
[20:42] Nekira Sudacne: *smiles* "why do you fight so hard aginst things you can't touch?"
[20:42] MIck: "cause they're the things that need fighting most, and they're harder to cut"
[20:43] Nekira Sudacne: *smiles* "except one small problem. with only a few exceptions, you've been attacking the wrong things"
[20:44] MIck: "i'm just doing what i know"

[22:34] MIck: "i don't know... she tripped i caught her... she started whispering things..." *actually looks worried, i'm guessing there's no one around to realize how rare it is for him to be showing that though*
[22:35] Nekira Sudacne: he frowns suspusiously at her then frowns deeply "GURNY! STAT" he shouts. then he glares at you accusingly "Whatever happened put her into shock. another few minutes and she'll die unless you let us treat her"

[22:39] Nekira Sudacne: the gurny is brought in and he moves her to it and the nurses take her away. he looks at Tike and says "Wait outside" in the tone of a drill sergent. Tike immediatly scampers outside and he walks up to glare at you "You had better pray your not responsible for this mickey." that has the obvious overtones of a threat before he turns on his heel and walks out to follow the streacher

[22:46] Nekira Sudacne: several hours later the doctor returns frowning at you "She's stabilized but is still in a coma. I have no idea how long she'll remain that way"

[22:52] MIck: *when there* "we were in my attic, i was just showing them a few hiding places around the place. we went down through the floorboards of the attic to a room i've had boarded up since i moved in. "
[22:54] MIck: "she was getting chills while still in the attic, then on our way down, she yells no! stop!, and she trips, i catch her on the way down, so she didn't hit anything that i know of, but then she starts whispering things.... she shouldn't know..." *looks confused at the last part looking at the floor with a 'trying to think' expression*

[22:56] MIck: "what the hell does that matter?!" *is very defensive on that one* "stuff that happened years ago, before either of us even knew the other existed, i didn't even know her mom back then! hell i was fucking nine or ten!

[16:21] MIck: *looks around for Dr. angel, and waits patiently in his waiting room with the patients*

[16:25] Nekira Sudacne: after a while you see Dr. Angel come in. he looks at you and frowns for a moment, checks his clipboard and says "Daniel, your turn"

They wanted to see how you would take her death, what you would do, would you abadon everything she taught you and revert to how you were, would you keep with it, or change into something else entirely?"
